Providing an independent-school education is a major investment in a child’s future. The cost of educating a student at The Hill School – with our dedicated and talented faculty, our comprehensive academic and co-curricular program, and our extraordinary campus – is substantial. However, Hill School’s Board of Trustees and Administration are committed to providing need-based financial aid to families who might not otherwise be able to afford a Hill education. Hill has a substantial need-based financial aid budget as a result of our commitment to remaining a community school. During most years, about 25% of our students receive need-based financial assistance.
Hill School utilizes the FAST (Financial Aid for School Tuition) Program (a secure, on-line application process) to evaluate financial aid applications. The Hill School Financial Aid Committee reviews each case individually to determine grants.
The Financial Aid on-line application process begins in January, with awards generally granted in early April for the following school year. Families must apply each year.
