As every child who has been in second grade in the past decade knows, Academic Dean Hunt Lyman and Upper School Science Teacher Paul Haefner start every Thursday morning with a Sing-Along, teaching the second graders (and their parents) such standards as Country Roads, This Little Light of Mine, and Puff the Magic Dragon. The duo, who occasionally play locally under the name Second Grade Paradocs, will be performing for the opening of Sue Lyman’s art show at the Common Grounds on August 1 from 3:30pm-5:30pm. All Hill students and parents who love these songs are invited to stop by and help them sing some favorites.
