W hen I first visited Hill School in 1990 as a candidate for teaching, I quickly knew that I wanted to be part of this school community.
Fortunately, I was offered a position teaching English and history in the seventh and eighth grades, and I have loved being at Hill ever since.
There are many reasons for my affection for and belief in Hill.
A few are:
- Each child is known, respected, cared for, and given a variety of opportunities to build on strengths and to address, in a systematic and patient manner, areas which need improvement.
- We believe an open and trusting parent-school relationship is essential in helping children grow and develop, and we work closely with parents to build this partnership.
- Our faculty and staff are deeply committed to Hill’s mission and philosophy and, most importantly, we love working with children.
Please visit the school. I am confident that you will recognize, as I did over two decades ago, that Hill is a wonderful place for children to learn and grow.
I look forward to meeting you.
